Afinia L701 and L502
Speed, Quality, and Color—On Demand.
Afinia L701 – Overview
The Afinia L701 is a Memjet‑powered color label printer designed to offer professional print quality at the lowest entry cost among Afinia’s Memjet models. It features a stationary Memjet Waterfall® printhead, extremely fast full‑color output, and low ink costs thanks to its five large 150mL dye‑based CYMKK cartridges. This makes the L701 ideal for organizations producing high‑impact colorful labels at short to medium print volumes.
Key highlights include up to 1600 × 1600 dpi resolution, 8 inches per second print speed, and compatibility with paper, polyester, polypropylene, and vinyl media.
Afinia L502 – Overview
The Afinia L502 is an industrial‑grade, dual‑ink label printer built with a robust all‑steel chassis for demanding environments. Its standout feature is DuraPrime™** Duo Ink Technology**, allowing users to swap between dye‑based inks for vivid prime labels and pigment inks for exceptionally durable, waterproof, abrasion‑ and UV‑resistant labels.
It prints at up to 4800 dpi, around 5.2 inches/sec, and is certified for BS 5609 and GHS‑compliant chemical labeling when using pigment inks. This makes the L502 one of the most versatile printers on the market, especially for applications requiring durability or regulatory compliance.
